Why we don't ship flower

Cannabis cannot be shipped across state lines. Not by us, not by anyone, not with a licence and not without one — it is federally illegal and no state programme changes that. Anything sold to you online and mailed to your door is either hemp-derived and legally distinct, or it is being done by someone who should not be doing it.

So the flower goes to licensed shops, and you go to the shop. That is the whole model. It sounds like a limitation and for a long time we treated it as one, but it turns out to be the part of this business we would keep if the law changed tomorrow.

A shop is a filter. Someone behind that counter chose to carry this over the forty other things they were offered that month, and they will be asked about it by every person who picks up a jar. That is a harder audience than a product page. It means the work has to survive being handled, opened, smelled, and explained by someone with no reason to be generous about it.

It also means we can be honest about what we don't know. We can't tell you how a batch will land for you. We can tell you what it tested at, what it smells like out of the jar, and which shops have it on the shelf this week. The rest is a conversation with someone standing in front of you.

Merch is different — that ships, because a hoodie is a hoodie. Everything else, you'll find on a shelf.
